"Founder of D3-UK in 1998. I have worked in a wide variety of engineering sectors throughout my career from light engineering, power transmission and for the past 35 years in the oil and gas sector, coming to the specialised in-line in inspection niche 25 years ago. My love of innovative design solutions keeps me engaged with our clients worldwide."

"I joined D3-UK in 2015 and became Engineering Director in 2017. I have always worked as an engineer, starting within the UK gas distribution network and more recently involved in ILI and PIG design. I hold a 1st Class Masters Degree and love taking on new projects and the challenges they offer."

"During my time at university, I gained experience working for a global leader in the pipeline inspection industry. I was fascinated with this specialised area and the many associated challenges, this led me to taking up a position with D3-UK as it matched my interests and ambitions.

Many of our past and present clients have been ILI companies. I have worked now for several years in the ILI industry on a range of different projects. D3 are not limited to just working with clients in this specialised area, I have been lucky to work on projects in the Renewables, Agricultural & Medical industries.

I also hold a 1st class MEng Mechanical Engineering degree."

I joined D3-UK in 2021 as a graduate after gaining a 1st class master’s degree from Northumbria University, progressing to become a full time Mechanical Design Engineer in 2022. I chose mechanical design as I enjoy the technical challenges and creative aspects associated with problem solving. Working as part of the team at D3-UK has allowed me to gain experience in ILI tool design while also venturing into other fields such as crane structure design.
